We have a new LED array board in production and it will become available mid next month. We are also working in a new PWM board which should be ready for production end of this month. Stay tuned for updates.

I now offer custom board design services. Please note that at this time I am no longer working on the complete kits. I do not have access to the plastics needed to create the housings as well as the parabolic reflectors. Again if you know a company that can mold plastics for a good price and at low quantities please let me know.

The 3000gt project is on hold at the moment due to lack of time I have to work on it. I also can't find a reasonably priced way to produce the plastic housing. If anyone knows of a good plastic place please let me know.

We have a message board!

I've setup a simple message board here so you can discuss questions you may have. Let me know if you have any suggestions for the board.

Here is a picture of the 3000GT taillight with the LED arrays mounted. I will be adding parabolic reflectors and new lenses when I get them done.


We will be selling 52mm x 44mm LED arrays which will hold 16 LEDs in about 6 weeks. These will make it easier to add LEDs to other cars where the large array we have now doesn't fit. We will also provide a template so you can figure out how many you can fit into your housing.

Corner PCBs have arrived and are now on sale.

The PWM PCBs have arrived and are now on sale.

We have new LEDs for sale now. Check out the Luxeon Stars. The PWM PCBs should arrive Thursday. They should go on sale late this week or start of next week. The Corner PCBs should also arrive shortly.

The PWM PCB has now been tested and is ready to be manufactured. I should have both the PWM and the corner sections done within the next 8 weeks. I will be sending the PCB designs to the printers next week.

I finished the front and rear blinker designs for the PCB. I hope to get them printed soon. I have also completed the initial design of the PWM PCB but it still needs testing before I can get it printed.

I've also received a lot of emails from people interested in designs for their cars. If you are interested in a specific design please let me know what exactly you are looking for. If I get enough interest I can custom make PCBs for other cars.

The STOP/TAIL PCBs came in today. I already soldered one of them and made some pictures which you can see in the new section I added here. Next will be the blinker area of the taillight and maybe the front corner if I can get away with using the same size PCB.

I had to re-design the PCBs to work with the High Flux LEDs. The High Flux LEDs are the same as the snap LEDs but run at lower current and can be soldered. The cost will also be lower with the High Flux LEDs. I sent the PCB designs to the manufacture today and they will be shipped May 30.

I finished the main circuit board design and I have it ready to be sent to the PCB manufacturer. I posted a photo of the board design in the project section.
